Pros
Team environment is strong and was always enjoyable. I really enjoyed coming into the office most days. Management was also very approachable, and created a very health work-life balance for the sales team. A large handful of expensive tools for outbounding and CRM were provided, so prospecting wasn’t so difficult or time consuming. There are certainly worse sales environments to find yourself in.
Cons
Corporate leadership isn’t very transparent, and frequently gatekept critical information on where the company was headed, and what funding looked like. Projected OTE was grossly unrealistic, and the comp structure is messy. It often felt that we were being asked to chase goals that weren’t feasible, and leadership clearly entered a new market without doing their due diligence first. Expectations were poorly set, and managed even more poorly. I dipped as soon as I saw the writing on the wall, and nearly avoided a massive lay-off.
