I agree with you on this: Sovos has the most amazing people and I constantly feel lucky to work alongside each of you. On your concerns about salary, I want to affirm the importance of fair compensation. We regularly review our salary structures to ensure they align with industry standards, and we are committed to addressing any discrepancies. Regarding the gap between management and employees and perceived lack of coordination, these are areas we are actively working on improving. Our organization is currently going through a period of a rapid and marked evolution in the face of accelerating change in the market as businesses journey to address “always on compliance.” To keep our employees in the loop, and because we value open communication, we have launched several improved communication channels to help our employees stay on top of changes as they occur: more frequent SovosConnect meetings for all company and global functions and a soon-to-be-relaunched intranet to access company information quickly and easily. I do hope those are things that you are taking advantage of already, but if not, they are wonderful resources. Cons

Sales leadership is horrendous. New people are brought in not trained, aggressive targets (that have never been hit) usually designed to be the escape goats to protect the old guard. Long tenured sales protects the existing power structures. When results slip, they blame newer reps. New hires don’t hit, quotas unrealistic, weak implementation. Nightmare of a company, the worst I have ever worked at.

Quota-setting and new hire ramp structures are areas we invest in seriously - they're because we want our sellers to win, not to set anyone up to fail.
