Pros
They promote internally very often. Hard work. Fast environment. Long hours. Good people. Unified purpose. Good benefits. Lots of access to food at work. Some politics but not bad considering the size of the company. People that work here tend to think favorably of Elon Musk. Maybe don't work here if you hate him. Most of the direct supervisors are halfway decent if you are good at your job.
Cons
Expectation to work a lot of hours. Minimum 50 a week. Up to 60 or more hours a week. Depending on exact work location, it can be a very loud environment. Not a job for people who don't want to work hard. Lazy people will not thrive. Because there are a lot of motivated people here, it can be difficult to stand out above the rest to get promoted or recognized.
