Pros
10% associate discount, encouraged to give back to the community, lots of hard workers in non management positions
Cons
Management SUCKS. The people managing the IT systems barely understand the technology they “own” for the business and value their own opinions over the experts they hire under them. Some of these managers only IT qualifications come from working for a tech company h in the 80s before becoming “lifers”. Management almost always values their own ideas/conclusions over a new or fresh approach. Constantly lagging behind their competitors on technology. Scared of change. Company culture of working hard rather than smart. Director level and above positions seem to only manage “upward” aka they care about impressing their superiors but demand/demean those under them. This is the kind of company where anyone with good skills and a hard working attitude burns out and quits within a few years, because they aren’t valued or given opportunities to shine. Overtime is always expected despite the whole “family friendly culture” that PR team pushes. Benefits are measly for non-executives.
