Pros

Really not much to add here. The 401k match from Charter is nice however the health effects of actually staying the three years to vest probably aren't worth it.

Cons

Where to begin... Lets start at the top, Sumeet, one of the worst (realistically the worst) executive that I've ever come across and at this point I'm not sure why he's kept around. The company isn't improving and generally flails around in the wind while talking about how great things are becoming... nope - lies, all of it. Talk of change and failing fast is just that, talk. When projects and vendors clearly aren't the right technical fit all evidence from longstanding technical employees is simply ignored as is any evidence provided to back up such claims. In the end these employees either become outcasts or are exited from the organization. Those are the lucky ones. Its hard to work at a place where its easy to see that the man on top has no idea how to actually run a successful organization. New directors and VPs have been streaming into the organization bringing their suit coats and empty thoughts. Sadly, most don't really seem to have a grasp on what we do or the current state of tech. Even more troubling is what isn't streaming in, top end talent to handle the day to day. All the sales in the world won't do much when there is no one around to perform the work and with any solid talent heading for the exit sign this will only get worse. The direction and vision changes daily and typically revolves around landing on the Gartner magic quadrant. While this may be important to many companies what is also important is a solid foundation and since fundamental issues the arise isn't given any priority at all making the magic quadrant won't do much. Unlike most tech companies there are individuals here who are tasked with... well... taking attendance. Thats right, people walk around to see who's in the office. Like everyone is a child. Also, if you are generally more productive early and want to leave earlier than most, thats looked down upon to because the time on the clock is really what matters - right? Want to work remote? Nope, forbidden. And how they went around killing off the former remote work policy was another gem, killing off on a random day with no formal notification. This place likes to talk about innovation when there is none. No open source, no new ways of doing things... nothing. Just line up the vendors and load up on consultants. If you're thinking that this place may be like Google or AWS or Microsoft building tools for cloud environments keep on looking (lucky enough all three of those companies are nearby). In the end this is a horrible, miserable place to work and should generally be avoided unless you're masochist, then have at it. In all seriousness though, there are far too many great tech companies both inside and outside of Boston to bother with these two bit hacks.

Great company to work for. Overall they treat everyone with respect and there is a good work/life balance and everyone seems proud to work there. A ton of people have been working there for 20+ years.

None really, we were treated decently.
