Pros
Worked there as both a contract and full-time employee. Contractors enjoy some flexibility. FTE's have what FTE's expect from a national corporate conglomerate. Engagement within teams can be rewarding.
Cons
A large company that got too big, too quick. Executive management, on the Charter side, are old-school East-Coasters. Newer, younger management from the TimeWarner side have newer vision and direction for the company, however, retirement rates are slow and politics plays a large role in doing what is right for both the customer and for their employees. Your experience with management will vary between silos within the company. Hypocrisy will be shown as weaponized actions against employees; what is allowed will become non-allowed when the situation fits upper management. Trying to move internally is an obstacle to career development.
