Pros

Learned invaluable computer skills and the ability to navigate through different software programs.

Cons

Too many to list! Tethered to your desk, while taking call after call of unhappy Spectrum customers. During the training period, you work as part of a team, with the support and encouragement of your mentors and peers. Once you graduate to "production", it feels like you are on a desert island alone. No more motivational morning meetings, going over sales figures from the previous day, no words of encouragement or the playful banter before getting down to business. I used the restroom after I got to production and was a little amazed to see a supervisor at my desk, inquiring where I had been, why wasn't I on a call, and was I in "break" staus in the calling system we used. I was informed I would also need to deduct that "unscheduled" break time from my regular break allotment. Basically the job wasn't anything like training, and I knew it wasn't for me right away.
