Pros

Opportunities to learn & grow Opportunities to move up within the company Genuinely good people at the team level who want the best for their people & advocate for them Brand new corporate headquarters Great benefits, 401K match

Cons

Extremely disappointing response to the global pandemic. The top concern was how to make people go into the office despite majority of individuals having the ability to work remotely & could have felt more comfortable & safe doing so, especially early on in the pandemic. As an employee, I did not feel supported during difficult times. No flexibility, no work from home, very rigid on working hours, business casual attire, etc. The total opposite of progressive, especially for a telecommunications & technology company. I think there will be a lot of turnover in younger generations of talent because of this. 401K match is fully vested at the 3 year mark, which many employees don’t make it to. Very infrequent promotions within a team. Most individuals who move up in the company are forced to apply for internal roles on other teams. From my personal experience, most of the unwillingness to adapt and be progressive comes from the very very top. All colleagues that I worked with on a day to day basis were great, but couldn’t change the overall culture and structure of the company.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your concerns as we work together through these unprecedented times. As one of FEMA’s Community Lifeline sectors, our services are essential to hospitals, emergency first responders, government facilities, the news media and our communities to stay connected, help flatten the curve and protect the country. Making sure we deliver these vital communications while supporting our employees is our top priority. To that end, we recently made a number of changes to our operations that will help our employees better manage through this challenging time. These include an additional 15 days of paid time off to be used for any COVID-19 related personal need, increased social distancing plans in all of our call centers and operations facilities, and the option for remote work for employees whose jobs allow them to work outside the office without endangering our obligation to provide critical services. We thank you for all you are doing every day to support our customers and communities to ensure they remain both connected and safe.

None really, we were treated decently.
