Pros
Great local pay, awesome people. If you did your work the right way, leadership would not bother you. Although I can't speak for most, it was a very peaceful experience for me, especially working remotely. 401K contribution plan and retirement plan is one of the best ones I've seen locally. Generous amount of vacation time available at the beginning of the year and sick time is accumulated. The discipline and skills I gained during my years in this role is priceless and carries on in my career.
Cons
Spectrum is one of those companies with "old-school" mentality. Even though they did offer remote work for some employees (including myself), others who wanted it and deserved it did not get it. Also, if you wanted to grow with the company, you had to go back to the office. That's why I quit. I've always said if you have to be in front of the computer for your whole shift, there is no point of going back to office when meetings and work can be done from the comfort of your own home.
