Pros
You start at 24/hr & within a year doing “progressions” can be at 34/hr. Yearly 1-5% raise. Benefits are great. Company vehicle/gas card/tools. Independence is there.
Cons
Upper management is out of touch. Company is run by metrics which dictates everything. Customer experience is not a main priority over correct metrics. Safety is important to company liability but not to the actual employee. Expected to do fake installations when there is no customer/infrastructure because having a failed install is bad for metrics. Management politics gets in the way of work. Entire shop is run like it just opened and no one has management experience. Hard work isn’t recognized but expected. Nobody knows actual policy/guidelines or how to navigate corporate structure.
