So by far, the best cable job I ever had and telecommunication job Their healthcare has a HSA that the company partially contributes to so anything that you have to pay for from there before you have any co-pays the Dental was pretty good. The Vision was so so. They give you a RAP so that means whatever your salary is the automatic contribute 3% of it every check and all that money is yours to keep once you’ve been with the company for years or more so they really incentivize you and take really good care of you in the long run no other company I’ve ever been associated with has US space customer service or does this for you not Verizon Verizon not AT&T that that’s for sure. Definitely not Tmobile from what I’ve heard. Lotta team events a lot of positive things honestly a good work culture that management really definitely try to make you feel like part of a bigger purpose
Cons
Because it’s based in the US as with any other company who has all of their jobs primarily based in the US, especially their call centers there’s a lot of pressure to keep customers at the same rate that they’re already at when they call in versus actually save people money They unfortunately closed the last Grand Rapids call center a lot of 10 year at this location of really good jobs and they laid off 300to 400 people and offer severance to those who want to take it and move somewhere else Definitely a very stressful job. I will say that Spectrum does business and a lot of great areas when it comes to the customers and major metropolitan cities as well as big rural areas so if you’re someone with even the smallest accent, even if you’re American and a citizen, those who feel like certain people shouldn’t be citizens will definitely point it out when you’re just trying to help them on the phone Working in Loyalty and retention says it all
