Pros

Free Internet/Cable discounted mobile Very competitive tuition reimbursement / education policies (though they were recently changed) Goals for promotion within my call center role were relatively attainable with diligence over a year period. Consistent hours, full-time schedule Front-loaded vacation and personal days at the beginning of the year Workload itself is relatively tame and most calls are easy

Cons

Relatively inflexible with schedule Will punish you for using sick time "not pre-approved" i.e calling out Yearly raises are insulting(I am talking <1.00/hr for 95% of people, <0.50/hr for 50% I estimate. You need to get promoted to see any real pay increase. Even then the pay increase for a Rep 1 -> Rep II for instance is only a dollar but it is something. Flaky management team, if you are not on their good side watch out No job security. Your job is subject to be lost for any reason without warning. Do not expect them to follow their own rules when it comes to disciplinary process. Little support from management when you have a problem on a call. If a customer is endlessly berating and demanding things from you that you cannot do you are not allowed to transfer the customer to a lead unless they demand it.

Pros

I have been with Spectrum for 7 years now. If you have a good work ethic, Spectrum hands down is the place to work. I've had 2 kids since starting with them, their benefits are amazing, good pay, and I cannot say enough of how fortunate I have been since starting with them.

Cons

They are a corporation. If you understand that, then there aren't any major cons
