Pros
Exciting and innovative projects Advanced high-tech laser processes Engaging automation work A dynamic and competent engineering team
Cons
The company has a terrible culture, fueled by small-town gossip and politics that overshadow competency. There’s a significant rift between the dynamic engineering team (for the most part) and stagnant, inflexible leadership. One engineer, nearing retirement, is particularly obstructionist and resists any progress. After being bought by private equity and later DuPont, there’s been a noticeable lack of resources and support. The private equity ownership prioritizes extracting profits over investing in the company, all while demanding even higher profits, freezing bonuses, and halting even modest cost-of-living salary increases.
