Pros

Active job, got to be alone, fun puzzle solving trying to figure out the best route to deliver packages to maximize deliveries, built relationships with clients and got to see a lot of the same faces, and you get an end of year bonus depending on how much profit the company made.

Cons

Mandatory overtime, if you do a good job maximizing your deliveries and are consistently meeting quota, then the company increases your quota that you have to meet, poor communication from upper management puts group leaders between a rock and a nail, a young man was in a crash and died on the job (and I’m not sure the pay was enough to warrant that risk), and the company bought a ton of new trucks the year that profits were really good so the payout bonuses ended up being bad because it made their profits “go down”.
