Pros

The work is simple and easy, many slack off with little to no repercussions. You dont need ANY electronics experience, i got in on the "friends&family" plan. Raises every year(and they'll be higher than everyone elses if you brown nose management) 6 paid Fed holidays, 12 days paid vaycay, 8 days paid sick time(more if you jump through the corporate hoops and your docs quick with paperwork) , no initial substance testing, and you can save 3weeks of vaycay time. 117%match/6%max for 401K, Fidelity HSA, and a decent benefits package. $5250 in tuition reimbursement but only for specific college classes. $200 pants & $125 shoe stipend, per year. We are in our own satellite facility, and have an entire kitchen to use(only between 20ppl).

Cons

Mostly absentee Management, and when you do see them they're usually spouting some corporate line or giving contradictory orders. Hygiene is only a suggestion here(yes, i am absolutely serious. One of our techs got talked to about his complete lack of hygiene...he threatened to go to HR, and the matter got dropped, he still only showers maybe 1-2x a month from what we can tell. This same tech also sits in the bathroom for 1-3hrs a day because "theres no corporate policy against it" according to my supervisor) Your lucky to get parts for the equipment being working on, just depends on how motivated the management is by those who sit upon the ivory tower and how new the equipment is.

Cons

* Frequent employee call-offs created staffing shortages. * Regularly required to work double shifts to cover staffing gaps. * Management expectations often felt unrealistic given available staffing levels. * Workload was heavily dependent on previous shifts completing their responsibilities. * Tasks were frequently left unfinished by other shifts, creating additional work and stress. * High levels of stress due to understaffing and inconsistent shift performance. * Work-life balance could be difficult because of unexpected extended shifts.
