Don't be a fool like me, it's good for a few weeks, not worth sticking around any longer than that... - Customer Service Representative (CSR) Speedway Employee Review

Pros

People are decent. You get free water. You're at a gas station so you don't need to worry about going out of your way to fuel up your car.

Cons

No employee discounts. Salary sucks, upon much reflection. No on-the clock meals paid for by the company, a company which makes well over 500 million in just a year alone. Management ranges from serviceable to incompetent. Nothing ever gets fixed, or if it does, it's such a slap-dashed affair that it may as well have been left broken to begin with. Recent new hires have ranged from mediocre to downright atrocious. The work asked doesn't justify the salary. Quality of life improvements are a rarity, and almost never actually improve the workspace. The uniform policy is obnoxious and intrusive. The food you are allowed to buy (with what little money they give you) is lousy, and too expensive on top of it. The music played on the over-head speakers is downright agonizing. People that should've been fired for legitimately important reasons are never fired, you have to TRY to be fired from there, it's pretty sad.

Cons

* Frequent employee call-offs created staffing shortages. * Regularly required to work double shifts to cover staffing gaps. * Management expectations often felt unrealistic given available staffing levels. * Workload was heavily dependent on previous shifts completing their responsibilities. * Tasks were frequently left unfinished by other shifts, creating additional work and stress. * High levels of stress due to understaffing and inconsistent shift performance. * Work-life balance could be difficult because of unexpected extended shifts.
