I used to be a huge advocate for Splunk. Flexibility, focus on deliverables and freedom to work the way you want to work. That is diminishing especially in organizations where new leaders are on-board.
Cons
Work - life balance is getting better, only because I don't care that much anymore. Many of the other senior executives are decent people but the recent hires are not.

Great compensation and time off. No micromanagement. Great product that's known for its strength and solid brand
Cons
Lack of definitive direction with Cisco and old and outdated game plan. Competitors have caught up and sometimes surpassed Splunk leaving Splunkers looking for a new strategy; very small territories, incompetent hires in some management roles
