      Pros

      The '5 point play' makes for ease of training and following company policies $10/hour The three key elements, when followed by EVERYONE, are good basis for building success

      Cons

      Non-recognition of anyone other than top performing employees Owners praise based upon statistical data which can be altered at anytime to suit owners whim Full time hours unavailable for anyone other than management More than half of the owners do not follow the companies three key elements because they discount the voice of staff There is no system in place for the verification or reprimand of poor management Free Haircut Coupons...a BIG NoNo!

      Bonusing, fun family culture, award ceremonies, fun prizes, fun parties, feel appreciated, steady client flow, reliable paycheck potential, paid trainings, no chemical services, flexible scheduling, opportunities for advancement, established brand.

      Cons

      Fast paced, mostly men and boys, stand all day, pressure around productivity, income varies, working weekends, holidays and evenings.

      Pros

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Cons

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
