Pros
I've been working at Spot AI for some time now, and I'd like to share my thoughts on the company. First and foremost, it's essential to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of our directors and managers. The sales engineers, sales support, and customer success teams are exceptional, and they make the company stand out.
Cons
There are significant challenges that need to be addressed. Transparency and communication within the company leave much to be desired, which often makes day-to-day tasks more difficult than they should be. The organization tends to be reactive rather than proactive, and this has consequences that are becoming increasingly evident. Many decisions made by upper management, from department heads to founders, lack scalability and seem shortsighted. As a result, we find ourselves grappling with the repercussions of choices made a year or two ago. One of the most pressing issues concerning upper management is the apparent lack of experience and the reluctance to seek advice or gain a deeper understanding of the business. The frustration stemming from these issues is palpable throughout the company. What's even more challenging is the work environment. Upper management has yet to create a productive, energizing, and positive workspace. Micromanagement and unrealistic deadlines are pervasive, and it often feels like there is little appreciation or respect for the effort we put in. To make matters worse, many of us find ourselves working extra hours and going the extra mile while being compensated less than our peers who perform similar roles. When I joined Spot AI, I envisioned a long and fulfilling journey with the company. However, with each passing quarter, it's becoming increasingly difficult to remain motivated and satisfied in this environment.
