Pros

I have nothing good to say about SpotOn, expect they have free snack and drinks. Occasionally, they will provide pizza or wings, and cheap T-shirts and low quality backpacks.

Cons

SpotOn has been the worst company I have worked for in my entire life. Company lacks direction, and managers just act like lost puppies. The president himself is unaware of what’s going on most days as he acts a robot. There is a lot of shady things that happen to maintain their sales goals by sales directors and sales agent. In other words, they are basically faking documents and signatures to make sure the company stays afloat - for what? So they can say: oh we closed so many deals this month? Oh yeah, it’s because half of them were fraudulent. Most accounts they sign up remain dormant, while they collect monthly service fees. Sounds familiar? Well, banks have been doing that for years and now SpotOn!

First and foremost: we don't fake documents and signatures, nor do we sign fraudulent accounts - any insinuation is patently false. The statement that most of our accounts are dormant also is untrue. While I am incredibly disappointed to hear your reaction to your time here, and would be happy to discuss, I won't stand for claims that are not just untrue but are slanderous. We take great pride in the work our team does day-in and day-out and our values and integrity mean everything to us. If anyone ever wants to discuss those facts - I'm more than happy to (rj@spoton.com)

Pros

Robust benefits package that covers all the essentials: health, dental, vision, and a 401(k). They also offer an unlimited PTO policy, which is a great perk depending on how you prefer to manage your work-life balance.

Cons

Where do I begin? The product itself is unreliable and faulty, which means you are constantly dealing with angry customers. When you combine an unstable product with inept leadership, it's easy to see why the company struggles with profitability. There is zero culture here (at least in my department), and managers provide a severe lack of training. New employees are routinely thrown into situations they aren't prepared for, yet leadership wastes no time lambasting you when things go wrong. Because of this, morale is incredibly low and turnover is very high. Their internal processes are deeply flawed, and leadership has no intention of fixing them. It is simply too much work and unnecessary stress for the pay. I would stay far away from this company.
