Churn and burn environment - worst I've ever seen, retention is at 50% No structure, no accountability from leadership, no support Middle management is ill-equipped to lead, and too overworked to bother New ideas or approaches for problem-solving are largely ignored It's VERY white and racism is a problem You will never be doing enough for them, they want you to be a machine. You will constantly be pushed to grow and to talk about your growth, but you won't have the time or the resources to actually do so. They brand the culture as "Controlled Chaos" but it's just a band-aid term to excuse how massively disorganized and clueless the leadership is. They'll also tell you they have "no time for internal politics" but it's actually the ONLY thing they care about. "No time for prima-donnas" just means don't have a different opinion, don't be "difficult". Working here is about blind compliance and not rocking the boat—if you can do that at an unrelenting breakneck pace, and not be crushed by the soulless nature of the org, well then this might work for you (but you still shouldn't expect to be promoted, unless you're Swedish). It's all about quantity, NEVER quality—they're allergic to the time it requires to follow a review process and make improvements. I can't speak for other departments, there are good reviews and seemingly happy people, but trust me when I tell you HR is a nightmare. And I don't believe it stops there—in a nutshell the company went public, and ever since that happened the culture has been coming apart at the seams, in service of the grind. They do not care if they burn you out, they've got plenty of replacement cattle waiting. My replacement was selected and working before I was even out the door.
