Spraying Systems Company

Is this your company?

The company is alright, but the management is poor depending who you work under. - Project Engineer Spraying Systems Company Employee Review

Pros

Good work/life balance and you aren’t required to work more than 40 hours for the most part. It’s a pretty relaxed environment.

Cons

Your vacation is pretty standard when you first start, but it takes years at the company to accumulate additional vacation. Also, in engineering you are often bogged down with a lot of sales work and it can slow down actual engineering work.

Thank you for your review. As of this year, the vacation program was re-designed to be more current and provide faster accumulation of time. This is now more comparable to the market. We hope you will come to Human Resources if you need more information on the program for more explanation. Your other feedback will be shared to similar departments to improve our programs. Thank you!

Pros

- Lax, Chill Workload (Mostly) - Employees have high and long tenure here - Most of the company goes home around 4PM. - Job security for this industry is good: nobody is gonna stop buying spray nozzles anytime soon.

Cons

- Not the place for fast, innovative work. - Really slow to get things done and managers are old-fashioned and by-the-book. - Pay is pretty lousy for this industry. - Promotions are hard to come by, due to the "flat" organization this company promotes. - Management is stubborn prefers to take the cheap route vs the correct route. (They are known for hiring contractors before hiring fulltime (most of the employees), but also some contractors continue to never be hired on full-time) - Company outings are really meh.
