Pros

This is a company that is a ideal for those looking for job-security. With great benefits (paid for base healthcare and profit sharing) that really come into play after several years here, Spraying Systems has a good work environment with friendly staff and indeed a family environment. The company doesn't hesitate to place employees first. Promotions are earned through merit and candidates for promotions are hired from within. Nearly all new office hires are entry-level positions.

Cons

The base pay is lower than some alternatives. The company is currently going through a generational shift as many long-time employees retire. As such, there is some reorganization occurring that can be confusing. Also, since the company makes the majority of its profits from manufacturing nozzles, engineering designs can be curtailed by some of the more old-fashioned manufacturing methods practiced.

Pros

- Lax, Chill Workload (Mostly) - Employees have high and long tenure here - Most of the company goes home around 4PM. - Job security for this industry is good: nobody is gonna stop buying spray nozzles anytime soon.

Cons

- Not the place for fast, innovative work. - Really slow to get things done and managers are old-fashioned and by-the-book. - Pay is pretty lousy for this industry. - Promotions are hard to come by, due to the "flat" organization this company promotes. - Management is stubborn prefers to take the cheap route vs the correct route. (They are known for hiring contractors before hiring fulltime (most of the employees), but also some contractors continue to never be hired on full-time) - Company outings are really meh.
