Spyderco offers good salaries for professionals, treat employees with respect, and really try to create a team atmosphere.

Cons

Senior management sometimes does not allow an employee to be creative and think for themselves.

Pros

Good employee discounts. Nice facility. Relaxed dress code. Great Colorado location.

Cons

The son of the original CEO has been running the company for years, but lacks ANY formal (business) education which makes for a very dysfunctional run company. Due to poor sales 10% of the employees were laid off 2 years ago, which resulted in the loss of key people that were instrumental for the success of new high tech machinery that was being added.
