      Pros

      Working with Amber Ross at Staffing First was such a positive experience. She’s genuinely caring, professional, and always quick to respond. Amber made me feel valued as a nurse and went above and beyond to make sure I was placed in the right assignment. Her communication was clear, and she followed up regularly, which made the process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find a recruiter who truly listens and supports you every step of the way — Amber definitely does. Highly recommend her!

      Pros

      Excellent communication and support, clear instructions on what tasks are needed, fast response to questions or concerns. Amazingly helpful from the very beginning.

      Cons

      I honestly cannot think of any negatives, but if I have to list one it would be that I am not able to thank them in person.

      Amber with Staffing First has been my favorite recruiter to work with for years. The best compliment I can give her and this company is when given the chance from a facility to work with any staffing company of my choice—I chose them—not once but twice. Amber and staffing first are responsive and fair. For me, they offered the highest pay very consistently over several assignments. She is the first person I text when I need a new job. Never have I had someone so quick to respond via text/call/email. I’ve even messaged with questions over the weekend, expecting a response on Monday, and she responded within 10 minutes same day. My last assignment there was a bonus I was waiting to get paid directly from the facility and Amber followed up for me for months about this despite not getting any % of this certain payment. Usually a staffing company would have let me on my own for this. Also, they processed that payment for me months later—to me that’s above and beyond. I have worked on and off with Staffing First and Amber since 2021. Their pay rates have always been well above the average (sometimes incredibly more) and they make the submission process for jobs very easy. A simple resume submission and emailing/texting required documents. She does personalized texts versus chain requests to see if you’re available for a job (not that I’m against those). I like their payroll system. I’m sure I will work and with staffing first again. Not to be dramatic, but these opportunities given to me through Staffing First (especially the first couple jobs) have changed the economic projecting of my life and my family’s life. Thank you Amber!
