Pros

Employee dinners and potlucks, You're able to pick a Christmas gift at the end of the year. Half days on Fridays.

Cons

Extremely high turnover with locators and you do a lot more than just pick up the phone as a help desk support. You have to troubleshoot everything. Not really a Next level ticketing system you have better luck to just troubleshooting a situation than than sending the tickets to the next level. You have to build, deploy all equipment and do assets management when they come back from terminations and repairs. Repairing the equipment was way too high. You will never get a raise. No time to work on improving your education you don't get any competitive pay. Extremely terrible lack of training and communication between locators, management. Deploying software before fully integrated and tested was a nightmare. Most of the help desk calls were training the locators and remoting into their equipment to show them very simple tasks were.

Pros

Our teams feel like a family, and there is a direct connection with each department whenever questions or support are needed. There are also strong opportunities for advancement for those who demonstrate a solid work ethic and commitment to growth. At the end of the day, this is the best locate company I have ever been a part of. While there is always room for improvement, the fact that our concerns and ideas are genuinely heard and acted upon speaks volumes. It shows that management values its team, and it creates a culture where both technicians and leaders feel respected, supported, and motivated every day.

Cons

Managers often have additional responsibilities that can take time away from their primary focus, which should be managing their teams and maintaining safety and quality at all times. Many of these added tasks can pull attention away from day-to-day operations. Communication could also be improved across all levels to ensure expectations, updates, and support are clearly shared from every direction.
