Pros

They do their best to make it a fun place to work, lots of free snacks and video arcade in the lunch room.

Cons

No room for advancement if you don't fit into their click , there's lots of favoritism, certain people will get promoted right away if they have a family member or spouse that works there and they don't have to apply for the position like everyone else.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience during your time with our Customer Care team here at Stamps.com. We are pleased to hear that you felt we “make it a fun place to work, lots of free snacks and video arcade in the lunchroom“. It is disappointing to hear that you don’t believe we are a company that you could have advanced with. Our management teams are deeply committed to fair practice. Decisions are never based in nepotism or favoritism but rather qualifying skills and high performance. Further, we are committed to providing those highly skilled and high performing team mates opportunities to grow and advance. Approximately 1/3 of all our open roles are filled from internal employees. Many members of our management teams started their careers in our Customer Care group. If you have specific information to share, we will investigate. Our doors, both now, as when you were employed, are always open. On behalf of our Customer Care Management team and Human Resources, we’d like to invite you to reach out directly to us to talk more about your experiences at HR@stamps.com so we can continue to learn and improve.

Pros

Up until the company was purchased by a private entity, the company had a great culture. Unfortunately, things changed soon after that and the culture and focus was gone.

Cons

After it was purchased the usual layoffs started happening due to restructuring. Because there was new management during the layoffs, there was little compassion during these hard times.
