Pros

I've worked at Stand Together for a little over a year now, and it's been one of the best professional experiences of my career. Stand Together leverages Market Based Management to guide its operations and if you lean in and embrace this, you will be successful. The community really fosters a collaborative culture where anyone can speak up. Excellent total compensation (particular highlight on the retirement savings & matching, as well as unlimited PTO). In the IT department, there is strong leadership and a clear vision for the future of IT in the Stand Together community. There are also many opportunities for knowledge, training, and overall professional growth as the IT team is "rebuilding". Overall nice offices, with plenty of training and collaboration rooms. Nice kitchens that allow for comfortable alternative workspaces. Adequately stocked kitchen with coffee, tea, sodas, etc. and ample parking onsite.

Cons

The recruitment process can be extensive and sometimes impact a team's ability to add value. Some leaders embrace challenge in theory only. Lack of racial diversity in leadership.

Pros

A welcoming, Warm, Positive, and Good Environment where you are allowed and encouraged to grow.

Cons

Sometimes, not enough work is given. But it also allows you to express yourself and give value to the team.

Pros

Resourceful and makes a good effort as a company overall to make sure employees are encouraged to share and contribute ideas. Welcoming to what you want to say than many other companies.

Cons

I can’t tell if it is other teams. But for my team the job has been very demanding, and being pushed to get things done faster and faster can be frustrating, especially when you are new are trying to learn and comprehend complex systems. Meetings can overload times to get any stuff done, and sometimes you can be micromanaged to a point you can become overtly stressed out. also if you are not a Republican, Libertarian, or at least pro Conservatism; you should keep that to yourself. Your political alignment like it or not can and will be used against you.
