Pros

The ST community feels both vast and personal - coming from smaller orgs I was not sure how I would feel at an employer of 1300 but it has been welcoming, easy to navigate, and an exciting enterprise to be a part of. Pros have been: -abundance of resources and motivation to think critically about how those resources are used -great onboarding plan/program that extends beyond the first few weeks -staff are both smart AND kind, values are honored and discussed frequently, intelligence and work ethic are rewarded in equal measure -good work life balance, trust and respect creating an environment of personal responsibility -brand new headquarters in VA, great space to work in and collaborate - -

Cons

Cons may be leaning heavily on individualization which may not be the right fit for some people's working style if used to relying on strict rules, templates, guidelines, etc.

Pros

A welcoming, Warm, Positive, and Good Environment where you are allowed and encouraged to grow.

Cons

Sometimes, not enough work is given. But it also allows you to express yourself and give value to the team.

Pros

Resourceful and makes a good effort as a company overall to make sure employees are encouraged to share and contribute ideas. Welcoming to what you want to say than many other companies.

Cons

I can’t tell if it is other teams. But for my team the job has been very demanding, and being pushed to get things done faster and faster can be frustrating, especially when you are new are trying to learn and comprehend complex systems. Meetings can overload times to get any stuff done, and sometimes you can be micromanaged to a point you can become overtly stressed out. also if you are not a Republican, Libertarian, or at least pro Conservatism; you should keep that to yourself. Your political alignment like it or not can and will be used against you.
