Pros
Your experience at Stanley is highly dependent on your manager. However, here are some facts to consider: 1. You will be given a lot of trust to engineer projects for a variety of clients across the US, and possibly abroad 2. There are many templates to use for engineering calculations. This saves a lot of time doing things from scratch, but you still have to know what you're doing 3. You will work with many PMs who all have different management strategies. Some micromanage, some don't.
Cons
1. There is not much training. You learn on the job 2. You will not do your own drafting. Essentially, you send markups to a drafter, who then picks up the markups. You are reliant on the drafter to do a good job. Otherwise, you waste time backchecking and the budget/your 'performance' suffer 3. You will likely work more than 40 hours a week
