Pros

Steady work and ok pay - not a bad place to get maintenance experience, if you don't have much. Pretty chill. If you have already worked a few years in maintenance you can probably do better.

Cons

I never knew until Thursday or Friday whether they would schedule overtime for Saturday. Sometimes I would drive in for scheduled weekend overtime only to find out when I got there that they were canceling it. Sometimes they would tell us no overtime, and then change their mind last-minute.

Pros

Laid back environment depending on the team that you work on.

Cons

The laid back attitude leads to things often not being done on time. Nobody takes responsibility for anything. Management often expects you to go above and beyond for a mediocre salary while they make 3-4x what you do. Climbing vertically is nearly impossible as positions only open up when someone dies or retires.
