Pros

The pro of working at Staples in Cranberry was without a doubt the great team of co-workers as well as most of the customers that entered the store. A great place for a tech with little or no experience to start until they get some experience or a real job. Also a good place for computer hobbyists to work (since that is what they normally hire).

Cons

Staples is a company that promotes advantage. What I mean by that is they will promote anything that is to their advantage while using the employees like toilet tissue. They are a company that cannot make up their mind as to whether they are a copy center, office supply store, or a cheap version of Best Buy. They will offer opportunity to move up but fall short with the follow through after they lay a list of demands at your feet. You will be repeatedly lied to due to in store politics as well as micro-management. In general they are a waste of time for any college leveled or experienced techs.

Pros

Discount was pretty nice to have

Cons

Management was changed very frequently that right when one person would finally get their system in order, someone else would be hired to take their place. Also the pay was really bad, like it only became 15 right before I was leaving.
