Pros

The Staples North American Delivery site I worked at was a Corporate Express site that Staples acquired in 2008. Being a former CE site, many of the CE folks were in place to already to the work for the new company. CE had instilled a sense of pride in the company, and the workplace had a "family" feel to it....

Cons

....BUT, when shortly after Staples took over, that began to change. Staples didn't seem to care about the individual workers or their lives, or the circumstances that affected them outside of the four wall of the now Staples warehouse. They had a system that looked good "on paper," but like many things that look good "on paper," the Staples system failed to take real life into consideration. Staples bragged about an Open-Door Policy with management and HR. It became quickly apparent that (at least where former CE employees were concerned) that policy only applied if you towed the company line. Any idea or criticism contrary to the "Staples way" was met with hostility and you marked for exit.
