Pros
Not many Pro's to list... the one Pro was the great team I was originally hired to in the beginning before I was switched to a new team after the reorg.
Cons
After COVID started, Staples had to cut 30 percent of its workforce in the corporate office leaving a lot of teams with no support. After a short 4 months of starting, I was moved to the PC team after the layoffs. This team is very toxic and does not care about anyone but themselves, I was treated extremely poorly on this team. Gender Discrimination was evident on this team, myself being a male I was made sure I would never live to the expectations of the women leading this team. I was bullied talked down to and given zero support and zero communication. Watch out for the DMM on this team she is not a team player she only cares about herself and her accomplishments with the exception of the other women on the team. On top of that, the PC team is very unorganized and has complex processes outside of what is taught on all other teams. For a high profitable category, they cut half the team manager and senior associates and doubled the work leaving it to the new entry-level Product Specialist. The pay was horrible especially given the senior-level responsibilities. Overall would not recommend working for them, they are a dying company with no future.
