Pros
The work environment was fine, and most employees made working more enjoyable. The work itself was typical of any sales experience, with some IT work for the Tech Associates.
Cons
Some management did not like some employees, making the atmosphere at our location somewhat confrontational at times. It felt like the enjoyability of the shift was dependent on what employees and managers were scheduled to work at the same time. Tech Associates, didn't receive as much training as they needed to provide proper IT support or tech advice for customers. Most product knowledge was coming from personal knowledge and experience, which worked for me, but not all the other associates had this knowledge. Management should have done a better job walking us through all the products we were expected to understand, especially tech products, and explaining the troubleshooting process when customers arrive with defective products. Also, I found it difficult to request off days in advance and guarantee they were acknowledged, and after I left the job (with advanced notice), I received messages asking why I hadn't come in to work. Clearly there are some communications issues.
