Pros
My coworkers made the job tolerable. You can sort of learn a skill if you're doing anything but cashiering. You'll have to teach yourself, but you have the opportunity to experiment. Very fastidious about work breaks (There was a class action lawsuit about 10 years ago) Large chain that offers transfers. Employee discount.
Cons
Typical frustrating retail environment. Disconnect between mrgs and reality. Unreasonable expectations to sell people "warranties" (Those are pure profit) The pay was laughably low in their IT/tech dept. Very Anti-union. You have to sign a form that says you won't talk to union reps and watch propaganda about unions being bad during your training. I was offered a position doing on-site repairs, using my car, but only a $0.40 raise. I declined.
