Pros

Paid vacation and paid sick leave, however most of the year was blacked out. The minimum wage for this company is 9$ an hour starting off so that was nice.

Cons

Childish managers. Terrible with time management. Played hopscotch with the schedule. They typically sat around all day and talked and had part timers and an IA doing all the dirty work. Managers would also cheat on customer opportunity scores to keep the DM at bay. They spend way too much time on conference calls and playing in the office. Didn't even pay attention during the conference calls. They also didn't give me a payout for my accrued vacation that I didn't take when I decided to leave. Managers constantly belittle employees and HR does nothing. And you only move up if you're good at being best friends with management. Work as hard as you'd like but if you're not a favorite, you'll get stuck being a part timer that gives away blood, sweat, and tears for nothing. I saw many good workers leave (myself included) because they weren't favorites, meanwhile favorites were consistently late and sometimes even high on the job and two of them were promoted. Benefits were an outrageous payout. I don't know how anyone could start a 401k plan or health insurance with that company when you make an average of 2$50 a week. Maybe if you worked there for 15 years and reached your tapped maximum wage, but that's a lot of climbing to do in a place that works against you.

Pros

You will acquire genuinely useful AR and account management skills including Oracle, MS Office, customer support, reporting, and general O2C fundamentals. These skills will help you in future roles and look good on a résumé. To be transparent: those skills will come in handy when you’re searching for a new job later — because based on team conditions, you’ll likely be looking again within a year.

Cons

The Escalation Specialist role was originally part of the Center of Excellence (COE) and fully remote. It is no longer remote. Management relies heavily on weekly “validation” scorecards to evaluate performance. These scorecards often feel subjective and based more on opinion than actual workload, metrics, or demonstrated knowledge. They do not accurately reflect your true performance or skill level. Recognition tends to go to the same small group of individuals (primarily within Vendor Management), even though the Specialists are responsible for the majority of the day‑to‑day work and issue resolution. This creates an uneven sense of visibility and appreciation across the team. You deserve better!
