Pros
I really loved the work. Staples doesn't attract the troglodytes of the town like Walmart would. Good IT and tech experience. Sales training is actually very good
Cons
Must push sales and protection plans at an insane level Very high turnover Management doesn't care about you, even if they say that they do. You have to wait for the district manager to come to the store to ask for a raise. It is out of the GM's hands. They show up at random so you cannot plan. Raises are not given out based on length of employment or performance. You can put extra hours in, show up on your days off, and get great sales numbers; no raise, little acknowledgement. Low hours even with lack of staff. Print and marketing is on an island and there is almost a rivalry between the sides Anything will shut that store down. They are losing money every single day
