Pros
Constantly sometime to do. This isn't a job for lazy people (who sometimes fill the ranks). If your branch is busy, and most are, then you will be working for your entire shift. If you are like me that is awesome. I get bored easily and this position is not retail. You are making custom orders for people and it requires knowledge of the product and the tools to make it.
Cons
You cant work more than 25 hours and there are no salaried positions until you are hired to GM. In the respect you have to make 2 promotions before that. You get 25 hours as a part time low level associate and then as assistant manager you get 35 hours and then GM is full time.
