Pros
The company is capable of creating a great work culture. If you land at a good store you can find yourself surrounded by family. Partners are given the freedom to "make the moment right" as opposed to always asking a manager to resolve a situation. Drinks are fun to make. You can feel pretty accomplished barring through a morning rush. Specific to supervising: It is a good feeling when you lead your team through a challenging open or a tough close. While there is added pressure, aiding your fellow partners in their development while owning your own can be fulfilling.
Cons
As with any job, management can vary. While it is on each individual to perpetuate a positive work environment, the manager's presence and example are felt the most. Most complaints that you see will be about pay and labor shortages which cause more pressure in the workplace, leading to a decrease in morale which, in turn, leads to a decrease in customer satisfaction at the end of it all.
