-Staff is helpful and everyone goes out of their way to help you -Supervisors are understanding and very compassionate -Great mileage and cell phone bill reimbursement -Productivity expectation is very reasonable -Training staff adequately prepares you for job expectations -Create your own schedule -Management is the very best -Formal CERTIFICATED trainings for Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT, etc. -Individual and group supervision each week -Agency consults and collaborates with other mental health professionals outside of the agency to educate clinicians at meetings I would recommend STARS to everyone who wants to learn how to work primarily with children in different settings. There is lots of growth to be had here.
Cons
-If you're not disciplined with time management you will suffer cons. Being unorganized appears to make clinicians less productive. Structure each day accordingly.
