We are saddened to read this review, as safety of our staff and clients is always our primary concern. Our commitment to providing quality, safe services is supported by our accreditation with The Joint Commission, and we have numerous policies, procedures, and training programs in place related to safety, respect, and client treatment. Each SBHG agency has a Safety Committee that includes our direct care staff to actively review issues and improve safety. We wish this former employee would have shared this information sooner so we could have responded accordingly. We are happy to hear they appreciated our benefits, training, pay and tuition reimbursement. The program where we employ Youth Counselor 3 level staff treats the highest-needs children and adolescents in California, so the job can be very demanding – and at the same time extremely rewarding. High scores for employee satisfaction lead us to believe that the majority of employees consider this to be a rewarding place to work.
