Not all it was cracked up to be. - Mental Health Specialist II (MHS II) Stars Behavioral Health Group Employee Review

Pros

The starting salary was competitive and even high, in my opinion. They also pay for your TF/CBT training, which is great.

Cons

High case-loads, tons of driving, SO much overwhelming documentation and stringent deadlines. I couldn't take it anymore. It was advertised as a 40-hour a week job, but I ended up working 50-60 hours per week to get all my work done and still didn't meet their "productivity" requirements.

Pros

Fulfilling work and great coworkers

Cons

Lack of support from management, lack of acknowledgment, putting profits over people, low wages, unrealistic workloads, lack of accountability for managers and administration. The trainings they do provide are useless and they refuse to get us the trainings and resources that would actually be helpful.
