Pros
State Farm has good benefits and generally the people working there are easy to deal with. The job is not hard. Gaining experience at State Farm can help you access opportunities at other companies.
Cons
There are too many changes that negatively affect employees. State Farm makes decisions that are not based on input from actual employees. The amount of micromanaging is unreal! From metrics, to your daily schedule to the amount of time you visit others you know during your breaks...they are watching everything. It is a team environment, so there are times you'll have to fix mistakes made by other team members. This can get frustrating because it makes you feel you are the only person putting forth the effort to get the job done right. State Farm pays lower than any other company does for this exact position.
