Pros

You get a bonus every year and the benefits are decent

Cons

1. You will have the workload of 3 people and have near impossible metrics 2. They lie to get you in the door and tell you that it’s not a “phone heavy job” when infact you are on the phone so much you’ll hear the phone ring in your sleep. 3. The pay is NOT good. I’m baffled by folks saying the pay is good or fair for what the market is because no it is not. $50K-$60K to basically be a machine with horrible quality and being burnt out every single week is not okay. 4. You can hardly use your PTO. There is limited availability. 5. If you use more than 3 days of sick in 6 month you will be questioned and punished. 6. There are no more opportunities for remote workers. They have sent everything to the hubs. So unless you’re in one of the hub states (Illinois, Arizona, Texas) you are getting promoted or even able to move outside of total loss claims or injury. This job has caused more stress in my life than my previous job and I worked in an actual prison. This company, especially in claims, has a high turn over rate for a reason.

Pros

(At the time) Fair pay and predictable bonus structure They were pretty good at covering travel expenses and paying them back quickly Diverse workforce & diversity initiatives Fun and funny coworkers Opportunities for growth Again, this was all four years ago and has likely changed

Cons

(At the time and now, according to other comments) Arrogant to a fault Total lack of innovation & willingness to innovate Odd attachment to the company's past (which prevents progress) High number of veterans (20+ years) who are determined to get that retirement money, and therefore, are resistant to change and technology Heavy reliance on command and control management style Poor decision-making that leads to losses of all kinds
