Pros

- Large, global company - Decent benefits package - Good flexible work scheduling initiative with remote access availability - Active professional infinity groups - Strong company presence and support of community development

Cons

- Company culture supports inclusion of policy loopholes, indirect, verbal vs. written communication (to avoid accountability) - There is no end to "doing more with less" which lately has applied to compensation as well. - Low-balls salaries, will not pay more to get or retain talent - Too many people naively stick around thinking they can't do better elsewhere, they contribute to 'resistance to change' culture - Departments/ management tend to function like miniature 'kingdoms'; relectant to cross-pollinate or accept different views, even if not doing so is detrimental to them - Quite common for individuals to consider not responding to e-mails/ returning phone calls internally as an appropriate way to conduct business - Efforts at increasing transparency during job advancement process doesn't seem to be reaching middle management; still too many under-the-table handshakes required for lateral/ vertical movement. The majority of resumes never make it to hiring managers. Jobs advertised are often already filled but company rules make it necessary to make postings 'public'.

Pros

Own book runner and strategy. Good work life balance. Good working environment and nice people to work together

Cons

No much growth. Promotion to VP or higher is even forbidden based on company policy. Instead, ask people to move to different role. It doesn't make a lot of sense since it encourage people to find a new job.

Pros

The company has a great severence package. Unfortunately thats a pro because they are laying off workers every 3 months until most of operations are offshore. Decent 401k match and vacation.

Cons

Layoffs, pay is low. Return to office mandate.
