Pros

Extremely pleasant to work with the Audit team in Boston. Great colleagues, great people in general (at least my former team)

Cons

Compensation and experience assessment was not the best. State Street Corporate Audit pays way below the market average. I was extremely dissatisfaction, and disappointed with the cost of living adjustment in 2022, which it was $750 for the entire year while 7.5% inflation earlier this year. If you're looking for your first job, maybe this is the right company for you, if you're experience and still want to work for SS do not expect being compensated correctly.

Pros

Own book runner and strategy. Good work life balance. Good working environment and nice people to work together

Cons

No much growth. Promotion to VP or higher is even forbidden based on company policy. Instead, ask people to move to different role. It doesn't make a lot of sense since it encourage people to find a new job.

Pros

Forward thinking company with good overall work/life and internal mobility for career advancement despite being a large public organization.

Cons

4 days in office feels unnecessary given the business. Little to no equity based comp stings with stock soaring.
