Cons
Hired writers for the newly launched Women.com site were told to expect to write a minimum of one article a week, however, the editorial process took much, much longer than that. I did not get feedback on my first article until weeks after I had submitted it, during which time I had already submitted several more pieces. I was then abruptly let go for "lack of improvement" in that time, despite not having received that initial feedback until after the fact, or gotten any answers to the clarifying questions I had asked. Seems like they hired A LOT of writers, and then let most of them go very quickly. Quite cold.
