Pros

Most of the employees are grate people to work with

Cons

Oh where do I start you don't get properly trained you're basically haveto figure it out on your own and get yelled at when you mess up if you are a good employee and reliable you get treated like crap and if you are a crap employee and unreliable you are treated good all the tools and equipment and machines are garbage and falling apart its a very unsafe place to work there is no incentive to work hard pay is low and the benefits are average at best the management is a joke.

Pros

Work hours are well balanced, and it is fairly stress free. Managers seem to care and they do not give you grief about taking time off, whether it is for vacation or not. Pay is comparable to other manufacturing, non-professional office type work. Steady work load with little down time.

Cons

I'm not able to speak for other positions, but for mine, I honestly don't have anything negative to say. I have worked for other employers in this area that were much worse to work for than Stella-Jones. I will say that the "corporate mind-set" does show up from time to time, and it can be frustrating, but that is pretty common this day and age, so it isn't really a Stella-Jones specific issue.
