Pros

Decent individual insurance. Casual office attire. Ability to talk to some co workers if issues. At times, many options to change job or location of plant

Cons

Upper management at times needed training at the plants on how to work with employees. To much favoritism going on.

Pros

Work hours are well balanced, and it is fairly stress free. Managers seem to care and they do not give you grief about taking time off, whether it is for vacation or not. Pay is comparable to other manufacturing, non-professional office type work. Steady work load with little down time.

Cons

I'm not able to speak for other positions, but for mine, I honestly don't have anything negative to say. I have worked for other employers in this area that were much worse to work for than Stella-Jones. I will say that the "corporate mind-set" does show up from time to time, and it can be frustrating, but that is pretty common this day and age, so it isn't really a Stella-Jones specific issue.
